Personally, designing is about creating and expressing yourself in your world.
Life is the blank canvas that we were given to express ourselves and experiment with. It is a place where we learn and grow from our experiences. Experiences are the results of the experiments that we explore in life.
In design as well as in life, when we create we are using our creations as communication tools. Creating and building is our way of life. Evolution is part of our creative mind advancing forward. It is our way of life. Life is movement. Nothing happens without movement.
Designing is my way of communicating what I see, hear, and feel. It offers me the ability to connect with people visually with the goal to evoke emotions. I look at it as an opportunity to solve a problem by coming up with solutions that will reach them emotionally.
Having the ability to communicate allows me to express myself using the creative process. The process lets me gather and research information. I can then, test and express what I have created to the world. Look and Listen for the target audience feedback. The feedback is the most valuable part for me to effectively grow in my self-expression through design.

Designing is simply setting yourself free from the limited expectations of other people. It’s a channel of self-expression that can only be achieved through experimentation and feedback.
Communication is, above all the forefront of effective design. Design by nature is about communicating an idea, regardless of what medium is being used. A lot of designers today, get overshadowed by creativity and can get too far away from the initial goal of communicating a message.
